TPMS Release R58.0 – New Features

The new menu structure makes working on vehicles faster and more intuitive; some major changes include:

1. Home menu

• Select Vehicle - gives you the familiar Make, Model and Year selection (MMY) which leads to a new choice of the service functions that are available for the selected vehicle (see more details in point 2.)
• Recent Vehicles - select from a list of recent vehicles to quickly resume working on them.

2. New Service menu

Having selected MMY, you now have the “service menu” which gives you a choice of the services available for that vehicle:

a. Check Sensors
Read sensors, more clearly structured than before and all data is now automatically saved

b. Programmable Sensors
Quickly makes it clear which sensors you can use for your chosen vehicle. Functions include:

- Copy/Clone Set is used when you want to create a winter tyre set with the same IDs as the
summer tyre set
- Create ID: create a sensor with a new ID; repeat as many times as requested. There is no longer a view of the vehicle, which some customers found confusing when creating a single sensor
- Copy/Clone ID: copy a single ID; repeat as many times as requested. There is no longer a view of the vehicle, which some customers found confusing when copying a single sensor
- Manual ID entry is now available for nearly all vehicles and sensors

c. Relearn
You are now shown the choice of the different relearn options that are available (e.g. OBD and Drive). Sometimes there will be an additional Information menu with tips for problem vehicles such as Toyota

d. OBD Diagnostics
- Was previously in “Vehicle Check” but most customers have said they don’t have the time to do this for all vehicles, so we have split it out
- Will only be listed for vehicles that we have OBD coverage for

e. Technical Information
The content of this menu item are the same, but it is more easily accessible now due to the new service menu structure

f. Review Vehicle Data
Now contains a choice of the different data types
- Check sensors data
- Relearn sensors data
- OBD Diagnostics data

Thank you for being a Bartec customer!
